NI FieldPoint is legacy driver and configuration software for the FieldPoint distributed I/O platform. It lets you discover, configure, and manage Ethernet and serial FieldPoint network modules and their analog, digital, and specialty I/O channels, with APIs for LabVIEW and OPC to enable monitoring and control. The software supports features such as channel scaling, calibration, alarming, watchdogs, and diagnostics for industrial applications. NI FieldPoint has been discontinued and was succeeded by Compact FieldPoint and later CompactRIO; consider those platforms for new designs.
NI FieldPoint is developed by National Instruments. The most popular version of this product among our users is 3.0. The name of the program executable file is FieldPoint Explorer.exe.
